 개역개정 다시 천 척을 측량하시니 물이 내가 건너지 못할 강이 된지라 그 물이 가득하여 헤엄칠 만한 물이요 사람이 능히 건너지 못할 강이더라
 KJV Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.
 NIV He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in--a river that no one could cross.
 공동번역 그분이 또 재면서 가다가 천 척 되는 곳에 이르러 보니, 건널 수 없는 강이 되어 있었다. 물이 불어서 헤엄이나 치면 건널까, 걸어서는 건너지 못할 강이 되어 있었다.
